Caftans & Cocktails with Meg
I’ve been a fan of Meg, @cookinandcraftin, for some time now (I mean who isn’t?), and I never would have imagined I’d be teaming up with her to host an Instagram party. YET HERE WE ARE! Indeed, times are wild!
Meg herself was the inspiration!
Can we all have whatever she's having?
YES.
Here’s the scoop: Saturdays this summer, June through August, join us by donning a caftan and mixing up a cocktail. While Caftans and Cocktails has a lovely ring to it, the interpretation of the theme is completely up to you. Any breezy, loose frock qualifies and any liquid in a glass, bottle, or box will do!
There’s certainly no need to sew a new caftan, unless you want to, of course! (And in which case, please do share your plans and progress. We LIVE FOR that.) We've rounded up several indie patterns below for inspiration.
Meg will be sharing a round-up of Big 4 patterns as well as some DIY options on her blog later in the week.
