Making
I might have mentioned in my last post there would be a pause on making for the foreseeable future given the health status of a family member.
It seems that wasn’t entirely the case. As we've been making plenty.
Making memories.
Making waves.
Making mistakes.
Making each other laugh.
Corny as hell. #notsorry
Also, the photo dump that follows is more for me, than anyone else. It’s my blog. I do what I want.
It became clear to me that my making genes came from my father. How had I never considered this before?
While mom sewed and I've touched on her influence here before, dad is the maker. Wood, electricity, glass, clay. He transformed everything he touched.
Making toasts.
Ultimately, dad's prognosis is much better (while still being chronic and progressive) than we had initially thought. But it's not really my place to get into those details here.
Make the most of what you've got, friends.
Love,
LJ
